Sagal has been married thrice before finally meeting her now husband Kurt Sutter. Katey Sagal’s first husband was Freddie Beckmeier. He was a German-American bassist and founder of the renowned funk band, The Beckmeier Brothers, along with his brother Steve Beckmeier.
Sagal and Beckmeier met in 1975 and got married two years later, on May 1, 1977. However, their marriage was brief, and they got divorced in 1981. Afterward, Katey got married to Fred Lombardo from 1986 to 1989.

Sagal met Sutter through some mutual friends. There’s no denying the actress’ attractiveness, and Kurt was smitten by her beauty. Hence, he asked Katey out for coffee, to which she agreed but forgot.

Have A Daughter Together
The love birds of Hollywood welcomed their first child together after 3 years of marriage. However, the process wasn’t easy. Kaley and Kurt wanted to have children of their own and thought of adopting a child.
The adoption process proved to be way more difficult, so they opted for an in-vitro fertilization process. But the couple faced complications during IVF, so Kurt and Kaley welcomed their daughter Esmé via surrogate in 2007.
