Gravelle became a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company after completing his studies at RADA.
Trystan showcased D.C. Moore’s monologue Honest in 2010 during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival under the Assembly program at Milne’s Bar, where he garnered positive feedback from audiences.
In 2011, Gravelle portrayed Christopher Marlowe in Anonymous – a film that challenges William Shakespeare’s authorship – alongside Rhys Ifans and Vanessa Redgrave.

The same year, the actor was named one of Screen International’s Stars of Tomorrow. He filmed for Mr Selfridge, which later premiered in January 2013, from April to October 2012.
In Channel 4’s National Treasure, the performer played the young Paul Finchley and went on to portray vampire Baldwin Montclair in A Discovery of Witches two years after.
Recently in 2022, we saw him playing Pharazôn on Amazon Prime’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings Of Power series alongside Morfydd Clark and Owain Arthur, who enjoyed speaking Welsh with him on set!
