So You Think You Can Dance is an American reality TV show and dance competition on the Fox network. The program’s eighth season debuted on May 26, 2011, and Alexis Mason was one of the many hopeful competitors from across the United States.
Candidates for So You Think You Can Dance S8 gathered in Sin City to compete for a spot in the top 20. It was a jam-packed show with one week of dance, 160 candidates, seven judges, and two hospital visits, all of which were edited into two hours. Mason impressed the judges with a strong performance. Unfortunately, she was unable to get into the top 20.
Alexis, the well-known sister of Season 5 winner Jeanine, was up for elimination. She performed a solo to save herself, but it wasn’t all that impressive for the judges.
