The Columbus Crew confirmed the signing of Morris as a homegrown player on January 14, 2020. He earned his first professional start at The MLS is Back Tournament on July 11, 2020. On December 12, 2020, he became the league’s youngest player to start in MLS Cup. In January 2020, Aidan received a call-up to play for the American under-20 national soccer team.

4. Jordan Morris also Competes for the US

Jordan Morris was born Jordan Perry Morris on October 26, 1994, in Seattle, Washington, U.S. He represents the United States national team and Major League Soccer side Seattle Sounders FC as a winger and forward. The talented forward grew up in Mercer Island, Washington. Before playing college soccer at Stanford University, he attended the Sounders FC youth academy.

Morris was called up to the United States national team in April 2015 and scored in a friendly match against Mexico. He earned the Hermann Trophy during his senior year at Stanford. Early in 2021, Jordan was loaned to Swansea City of the EFL Championship. However, an ACL injury forced him to return after only four games.

His national team colleague, Gabriel Slonina, signed for Chelsea FC in 2022.

Aidan Morris was born to his parents, Angela Morris and Wallace Morris. His host parents, Casey and Rebecca, supported him during his early soccer career. Aidan started playing soccer at a very young age, and he competed for the Crew SC Academy, appearing for the Under-16/17 and U-18/19 teams. He played 42 matches for Crew SC Youth and netted eight goals.

On the contrary, Jordan Morris is the son of Dr. Michael Morris and Leslie Morris, and his dad serves as the medical director and orthopedic surgeon for Sounders FC. Jordan was nine years old when he received a Type 1 diabetes diagnosis. However, he did not quit his early soccer career and scored 28 goals in 32 games for Sounders Academy in 2013.
