Kiaran McLaughlin’s Wife Hails from a Horse Racing Family
The horse trainer has been happily married to Letty McLaughlin. Kiaran McLaughlin’s other half comes from a racing background.
Letty McLaughlin’s father, John Hennig, and her brother, Mark Hennig, trained horses. Coming from a racing family, it was easy for her to adjust to the long, odd hours required for the job.
Not much has been revealed about Letty McLaughlin’s educational background. However, it has been revealed that Kiaran McLaughlin’s father-in-law employed his wife as an assistant.
Encountered on the Race Track
When Kiaran was working at Churchill Downs, he encountered Letty. Having come from a horse racing background, it was not a surprising fact that they met on a race track.
Then and there, the couple’s lifelong companionship and partnership began. Kiaran McLaughlin’s life partner is very supportive since she understands the long hours and sacrifices Kiaran must make.
A Happy Family of Four
The couple planned to start a family with their newborn daughter in 1992. As a result, McLaughlin began arranging mounts for jockey Chris Antley, a promising rider on the New York circuit.
The pair welcomed two children while in Dubai. For the trainer, his wife, and their children, Erin McLaughlin and Ryan McLaughlin living in Dubai was fantastic.
But the family had to move because of the diagnosis and other reasons, which was a tough decision to make.

It was difficult for them to leave since it was a wonderful lifestyle for his wife and him, with a maid and a cook; they were living like kings and queens, McLaughlin explained.
But the duo chose to return to America and raise their children in New York. And now, Kiaran and Letty McLaughlin’s children have already grown up.
The couple’s son, Ryan, attended Vanderbilt, and Erin worked as a full-time employee at the Breeders’ Cup after working for the New York Racing Association for several years.
Erin has always enjoyed both the front and back end of racing, but she has never worked galloping or grooming.
Together Through Thick and Thin
The horse trainer and his wife have been married for many years now. Furthermore, Kiaran McLaughlin’s life partner has been with him through highs and lows.
After being diagnosed with MS in 1998, Kiaran went into depression and needed 30 days to recover from it.
After that, he was unsure what made him snap out of it other than Kiaran McLaughlin’s spouse’s support and the urge to go out and fight the fight.
Despite being diagnosed with multiple MS while in Dubai, the horse trainer continued to divide his time between the two nations.
The horse trainer returned to the United States permanently in 2003 when he and his wife, Letty, decided it was best for their family to return to America.
