5. Adam Is Her Childhood Sweetheart
Kristen and Adam are childhood friends, and they first met during their prekindergarten carpool group. Therefore, the couple have known each other for almost their entire lives.
Both grew up in East Lansing, Michigan, as their parents were neighbors. At the time, Kristen’s dad was head coach at Michigan State University.
It wasn’t until their senior year of high school that Adam took Kristen on a “date.” However, Kristen says their official and proper date happened in the final year of their University.
Both attended the University of Alabama but didn’t cross paths again until their last semester.
The couple ultimately rekindled their relationship in January 2013, going to Five Bar Tuscaloosa, and a month later, they decided to be a couple.
4. Kristen Saban Husband Proposed To Her In 2014
After hanging together on their freshman year date, they officially began dating on Valentine’s Day of 2013, and Adam had proposed by June 2014.
The two became immersed in college life after their freshman year date. Kristen joined a sorority, and Adam played hockey for the university.
The two reconnected one January night in Miami when Alabama was defending its name as football champions.
Once they got back to Alabama, the two decided to meet up. They have been together ever since. After moving to Nashville together, the two settled into life as a couple.
In October 2014, he and Kristen relocated to Birmingham after she secured a job at the Bruno Event Team.
The American national also found employment as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch. Recently, they bought a house in Mountain Brook, located approximately an hour east of Tuscaloosa.
Kristen was offered a position at the Bruno Event Team, and Adam accepted a job at Merrill Lynch with the Brown-Israel group. Both positions were in Birmingham.

3. A Grand And Successful Wedding
Kristen Nichole and Adam George Setas on May 30, 2015. The wedding venue is Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The reception party took place in the North Zone at Bryant Denny Stadium.
Kristen Saban husband went for a spin in a Rolls Royce on the field at Bryant-Denny, along with fireworks. A famous Alabama bridal designer, Heidi Elnora, designed Kristen’s wedding dress.
On May 30, 2015, the couple got married in Tuscaloosa. The wedding ceremony featured a beautiful fireworks display, and the couple rode through Bryant-Denny Stadium in an old-school Rolls Royce.
According to the couple’s profile on The Knot, which has been removed now, Kelsey Laney Saban, the wife of Kristen’s brother Nicholas, was the matron of honor. She is also the mother of Nick Saban’s first grandchild, who was born in December 2013.
After their wedding, the couple purchased a house in Mountain Brook and settled into married life. On April 27, 2020, they welcomed their first child, a son named James Nickolas Setas.
2. Played Hockey And Now Works In Finance
Kristen Saban husband was a talented ice hockey player who played for Lansing Catholic High School in Michigan before joining Alabama’s team as a freshman.
Setas played for three seasons and scored 23 points, comprising seven goals and sixteen assists, in 66 games played.
After graduating from Alabama, the husband worked as a Financial Operations Intern at Mercedes-Benz, followed by a Senior Analyst role at Culverhouse Investment Management Group.
Similarly, Setas then joined Equity Research Associate at Sterne Agee.

Setas’ family is the owner of Stan Setas Produce Company LLC, which is located in Lansing, Michigan. The company provides food and beverage distribution services to various supermarkets in the area.
Kristen Saban’s spouse was employed by the company twice, from June 2003 to August 2009 and then again from August 2012 to August 2013. It is worth mentioning that despite coming from a prominent family, Adam is happily married to his wife, Kristen Saban.
