The news of legendary manga artist Akira Toriyama death has sent shockwaves through the manga community. He was 68.

Akira Toriyama’s demise was confirmed by his production company, Bird Studio and Capsule Corporation Tokyo. As per their heartfelt announcement, Toriyama died on March 1, 2024.

So, what was Akira Toriyama’s cause of death? Well, he died from an acute subdural Hematoma.

On March 8, 2024, the studio issued a post to Dragon Ball’s fans, friends, and partners. They said the funeral service took place with Akira’s friends and a few relatives.

Likewise, Akira’s studio requested the media not to conduct interviews with the late manga artist’s family.

The studio, with respect and love, stated, “We hope that Akira Toriyama’s unique world of creation continues to be loved by everyone for a long time.”

Many people express their condolences and gratitude for Toriyama’s creations and contributions.
