In retrospect, even though it appeared harmless at first, this remark feels somewhat insensitive given that tragedy fell on Aiden’s mother, Mary, just weeks later when she took her own life.
Aiden’s mom was already displeased that Robert Kennedy Jr. was dating Hines.
In 2014, however, Hines and Kennedy tied the knot in an attempt to move forward past their misfortune as a family.
Aiden Caohman Vieques Kennedy Was A Young Boy When His Mom Died
Aiden was just 11 years old when his mother, Mary Richardson, took her life by hanging.
This tragedy greatly impacted her children, especially Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s daughter Kyra who had to be sent to live with Cheryl due to emotional struggles at 17.
Losing their mother must have been a challenging experience for Aiden and his siblings as they coped with this profound loss at such young ages.

The final arrangements were held on May 16th, 2012, at St. Patrick Catholic, where all family members gathered together to bid farewell in honor of Mary’s memory.

Aiden Has Interned In Various Organizations
The young Kennedy enrolled at Middlesex School in 2015, where he spent four years before moving on to Salisbury School and earning his high school diploma in 2019.
In August of 2022, Robert Kennedy Jr.’s baby boy attended Harvard University and graduated in May 2026.
Regarding work experience, Aiden has held various positions at different companies. He started interning for Senator Sheldon Whitehouse before transitioning to the Illinois State Senate Democratic Caucus.
Afterward, he completed a three-month internship with Baum, Hedlund, Goldstein and also interned for Pete for America.
